10th Wedding Anniversary Gift

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary 2 days ago. We did not buy for each other anything. My hubby does not drink or smoke so, I don't need to order cigars online to surprise him with a good cigar. We just pampered ourselves with 2 hours of massage session at Phoenix. :D

Then to a good lunch at Kenny Roger Roaster. We ate at the same restaurant during our 9th wedding anniversary! For dinner, each of us enjoy 16 sticks of satay celup each.

Hubby did ask whether I want a bouquet of flowers. I told him that since he asked, I will definitely say "No. Don't waste money." If he were to surprise me with one, I can't say no and accept it with glee. ;)

Wedding Planning

Ok lar. Let's talk about wedding now. I have a wedding to attend one day before my birthday; in less than 4 months time. It is the wedding of the last member in my family; my youngest sister.

I still have not buy any dress for it because I wanna go on diet first. It would be wondering if my sister would include aerobic class in her Wedding Planning so that her fat sister would look stunning on her wedding day too.

Oh ya, if you wanna get married, my advice is; please don’t do everything by yourself. Hire a wedding planner. It is worth it, I tell you. You would enjoy your wedding day better; stress free.

Flowers for Anniversary or Mother's Day?

Some of you might be wondering whether my hubby buy me flowers for the wedding anniversary or Mother's Day. The answer is NO!

You know, people say, "Once bitten, twice shy" Well, I rejected a bouquet of flowers he bought me on our marriage registration day and since then he NEVER buy me any more flowers! Then money was very scarce, so buying a bouquet of flowers just for the marriage registration seems like such a waste of money.

However, since we are not that poor compared to 7 years ago, I do long for hubby to surprise me with a bouquet of flowers. But I doubt that would happen. =(

Wedding Flowers

When I see the word "wedding flowers", it brought me back to the time when I am to be registered to be legally his wife; my marriage registration day.

Hubby stopped by at a florist and bought a bouquet of roses for me that cost him RM40. I freak out and scolded him because it is so expensive. We do not have the luxury to spend you see. One of our foreign workers is going to terminate his contract with this company because he wants to go back to his homeland to marry for the 3^rd wife. His first wife died many years ago but he did not remarry until he started earning good income from here. Going back to Bangladesh

Anniversary

6th marriage anniversary. Nothing grand. Just spent time with each other, eat, chatting and window shopping. That's makes me very happy. I mean VERY happy. My language of love is quality time in which I did not get much from my hubs due to his newly build business. So I really treasure all the time that I can have with him.
