The lady boss didn't want him to resign and asked him to take 2 weeks off to think it through. Hoping that he will change his mind after the break. Say only what for right? I think if she sends him and his family for a 2 weeks holiday in one of florida vacation rentals, high possibility he will change his mind.
It is because one of the reasons that he tendered his resignation is because all his hard work for the 10 years of working for the company is never appreciated. He did mention that one of the ways that a company can show appreciation to their employees is by organising a free company trip/vacation. What to do, boss is not willing to spend. He'd rather loose a good employee than spend a lil bit more.
