Preparing for 20th Annivesary Celebration

In 4 months time, we will be celebrating our church 20th anniversary. Yesterday, the pastor announced that the church bought a new drum set that cost almost RM7k. Praise the Lord for His financial blessing upon the church. I wonder whether they will invest in a new roland ax-09 at musicians friend. With better musical instrument, the music sounds so much better. I think, I want to choreograph a dance to present on that day. :)

Christmas Gift Dilemma 1

In my previous church, on Christmas day, the parents will buy small gift for all the children in church, mostly chocolates and candies. This year I am attending another church and this will be my first Christmas with them.

I wonder what is their culture there. Will there be any gift exchange? If I were to bring gifts, I worry that I will pressure them to do the same next year. Some of them are not that well off. Must ask my BIL who attended that church about it this Sunday.

He is Preaching Again

Hubby will be standing behind the pulpit again to preach after 1 year of "holiday". He will be wearing long sleeve shirt and necktie again. Thank God the Senior Pastor of the church did not make black suit compulsory to those who preach if not I have to spend money looking for nice cufflinks for his suit. Come to think of it, I think I have a few cufflinks in my drawer. Someone gave him as a groomsmen gift few years ago. I think it will stay there until he needs to preach in suits.
