I just found out from a church member who recently got her pancreas cyst removed at a private hospital that it cost RM18k for the surgery. Thank God she got medical insurance but she has pay half of the cost because she did not buy the full coverage policy.
I stopped buying medical insurance coz of financial uncertainties but I did buy life insurance instead. Well, at least it covers critical illness which is more costly to treat.
