Hydrogen Water Promotes Hair Growth

Yesterday, I got a shock of my life when I see my wounds around the bite has more, longer and darker hair! Other parts of my legs does not have much hair and they are fine and not so dark in colour. Could be the Izumio Hydrogen Water that I has been applying there to treat my wounds? I quickly SMS my Sifu asking about it and she replied that Hydrogen water does promote hair growth. Those who are bald has tried it and the result is satisfactory. The hair on their head grew again, healthy. Then I joked with her that she will soon grow more facial hair coz she applies Izumion on her face too! hahaha

Care for the Elderly

My dad started showing symptoms of Alzheimer disease. Besides that his health is deteriorating. He is getting weaker. I hope and pray that God will strengthen him again till the day he leaves this world. I dread to see he suffers from pain during his old age. As children, we are trying our very best to ease his pain like how they eased our pain when we were growing up. If there come a time when he can even squat to pass motion, I'll buy for him the elevated seat. There are so many to choose from at Parentgiving.
At Parentgiving too, I found thousands of products and hundreds of informative articles that allow people to age well at home. Parentgiving are dedicated to offering medical and healthcare supplies for the elderly, bed and bath safety products and practical tools for all the activities of daily living for those who want to stay independent as well as those with limited mobility.

Now, my main priority is to continue praying for my parents salvation so that I cam meet them in Heaven when I die.

Tummy Cramp

Finally my body gave up on me. After working from morning until after midnight and continue again the next day for a week, my body finally said "I surrender! I cannot take it anymore!" I am having my monthly menses and this time it comes with tummy cramp. If I can remember well, I have not been experience period cramp since I gave birth to my eldest child, that is almost 10 years ago! My body really gave in this time. Due to menses, my body became weaker. I had splitting headache too and that comes with bone/muscle ache too. :( I have been sleeping almost the whole day today. The rest has done me good. I am slightly better now but the cramp is still here. Do I need los angeles detox? Not that I drank a lot. ;)

How many bolster does a person needs?

How many bolster do you have? Most people only have one bolster but I have 2 bolsters. I used to not sleeping with a bolster at all. Since I had my first baby, I have been having 2 bolsters with me. One to put behind my back and another to support my baby's back or mine, when we switch places. Wonder why? I breastfeed my baby to sleep and this goes on the whole night. That is the reason I need 2 bolsters.

Who is my baby's father?

One of the reasons we want to homeschool our children is to protect them from the social world that we are currently living in. What happened to sex after marriage? Many parents have surrendered to this social pressure. Instead of teaching their children to say "No" to sex before marriage, they are reaching their children about birth control. You can't beat them, you join them but with precautions. No birth control can guarantee you 100% you won't get pregnant. You will end up needing paternity testing kit if you sleep with more than one man. We are going to prepare our children with good characters and values before we kick them into the world.

Cycling during School Holiday

The school holiday is coming! One of the mommies in FB told us that her school holiday calendar is packed with activities with her children. But most of the activities requires money which we do not have much. The only school holiday activity that I have in mind is cycling. Since I am so used to waking up at 6am to get the children ready for school and driving them to school, I plan to use that time to cycle. I think I will drag my eldest girl along to accompany me. She loves cycling too.

No Medical Insurance

When I stopped working 4 years ago, we have to minimize our expenses and live with a single income. One of the expenses that we forgo is my medical insurance. With no medical life insurance, we trusted God to keep me healthy. I have to do my part too by eating a balance diet and do away with unclean food whenever possible. Praise God, till today, I did not have to be hospitalized other that due to my pregnancy. God is my life insurance now. :)

Apidexin is Not for Non Coffee Drinker

I just read the side effects of apidexin. The common side effects of taking this diet pills includes increased energy, sleeplessness, nausea, and upset stomach. Sounds like the side effects I'll have if I drink coffee with high content of caffeine. This is because Stimulants are very common in diet pills because they help to increase your metabolism, however, they also cause bothersome side effects for certain people. So, for people like me who are sensitive toward coffee or energy drinks, we have to consider a diet pill that doesn’t contain natural stimulants like Apidexin. If you are not allergic to coffee, then you most likely won’t suffer any with Apidexin.

Cost of Caesarean in Government Hopsital

Can you believe it that it only cost RM100 for a caesarean to be done at the government hospital? That is the amount I paid to deliver my youngest baby recently. To have a c-sec at a private hospital, it can easily cost more than RM5k! Just imagine how many manual push mower I can buy from the differences. This time I stayed in the hospital for 4D3N. The first day to prepare me for the c-sec the next day and 3 days for me to recover from the procedure before I can be discharged. Total amount paid = RM137.00. Super cheap right? ;)

Metal Switch Plates

Another thing that I noticed during my stay in the hospital is they are using the metal switch plates instead of the usual plastic ones. Better invest in something that is durable and safer. Btw, I just came home for yet another 4 days stay in the hospital. This time, I did not come back empty handed. I came home with a tiny baby boy weighing at 2.6kg. :D Will blog about him soon. :D

How To Get Nice CTG Reading

During my stay at the hospital, I have to be hooked to the CTG machine twice a day; once in the morning and once at night. The normal baby heartbeat without any movement is around 136 to 150. If the reading throughout the first 20 mins just hovers around that figure, the monitoring needs to be continued for another 20 mins because the reading is not beautiful/nice (cantik), according to the nurses. It must has a few peaks within that 20 mins, at least 4 peaks. To get the peak, baby must move and the heartbeat will increase to 160-200. After knowing that I make sure my baby moves every 5 mins and I need only stare at the CTG machine placed at Howard-Medical.com computer cabinet for 20 mins. Previously, I have to lie down on the bed for more than an hour!

6D5N for RM80 only

I spent 6D5N; bed, breakfast, lunch tea-break and dinner at only RM80. The downside is, I am not allowed to leave the building, not even the dorm I am staying for that duration. Can guess where did I stay? Ya, I spent the school holiday in GH. Not Genting Highland but General Hospital! :( Thank God I was allowed to sign myself out on Saturday. If not, I'll still be there for another week! It was my first experience staying in the hospital feeling as healthy as I can be except for the sleep deprived. Tell me, who can get a good night rest in the hospital? With all the ins and outs of patients and their family even in the wee hour, babies crying almost throughout the day and the nurses that comes to check your BP every 2 hourly. Anyway, Praise God that everything is fine now. Will know whether everything is still alright this coming Thursday.

Need To Loose Weight But Not The Muscles

One of the disadvantages of loosing weight is you will loose your muscle too. This will happened when you loose weight through cutting down your food intake. The fat will be gone and you will be left with flabby tummy, arms and thigh. The best way to loose weight is to combine both dieting and exercise. I used to do this. I cut down my carbo intake and I exercise to get rid of the flabs. There is an easy way out which I read from testoripped customer reviews. TestoRipped can give you energy, increase your muscle mass and help you to lose weight. TestoRipped is one of the safest testosterone boosters on the market. But I think this is for men only. ;)

Titanium in My Body

We are planning to have our 6th child next near. We agreed that this will be our last pregnancy. I have enough of raising up babies already. hehe. Time to move on to the next stage of motherhood. We have decided to give it another try on another type of birth control after giving birth to this 6th child. IUCD is totally out of the question. I wanted to try putting a titanium in my body. My fallopian tube will be wearing a titanium bracelet soon. This type of birth control is called the Filshie Clip Tubal Ligation. Most importantly, they do not need to cut my stomach; they will just poke a small hole through my belly button (laparoscopy) to insert the clip. :)

Time to Let Go

Right now, what I want to do is to relax in one of clawfoot tubs by bathsofdistinction filled with my favorite aromatherapy oil. I feel so tired every day even after napping for 1 to 2 hours. My body still has not adjust to the new routine. I have been sick (cough n stuffing nose) for almost a month already and there is no sign of healing. When I am about to get better, one of my children is down with runny nose or cough, I will get it back from them. My immune system used to be stronger. When they fall sick, I wouldn't. I have weaned off my 2yo boy and now in the process of weaning my 8mo. I feel bad/guilty/sad for my 8mo baby but I have no choice. I can't let them "suck me dry" anymore. I need the nutrition for my body now. I hate the maid for not keeping her word. I shouldn't have trusted her.

When There is No Bathroom Scale

We were without any bathroom scale for about a month. When we have one, we often weigh ourselves from time to time. If we see our weight increased, we will cut down our food intake until we get back our desired weight.

Without the bathroom scale, we did not keep close watch of our weight and we ate to our hearts content. "No one" to stop us from eating. ;)

Yesterday, we went to buy a new bathroom scale. To our expectation, our weight has increased insanely. I stand at 51kg now and hubby at 82kg! Hubby still can't believe that is is over 80kg. He blames the bathroom scale for being faulty.

Time to look for diet pills for weight loss!

Nurses in Private Hospital

Recently my MIL was admitted to a private hospital due to appendicitis. I was surprised that the service by the nurses are bad. I was expecting their service to be better than the government hospital because we paid in thousands for it. The only good thing about private hospital is they have specialist and their emergency service is fast.

Those ladies in their nursing uniform are getting lazier these days. If they see that the patient has someone accompanying; eg a maid. They will get the maid to do their job like taking hot water, washing the toilet or cleaning the patient.

They may wear nice nursing uniform from http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/ but they don't act like one. Sad. :(

Durable Soccer Ankle Support

I don't play soccer but I do have a pair of ankle support or some call it ankle brace soccer to support once sprained ankle. I got my ankle sprained due to playing softball. Since then, I will go down to the field to play softball without the soccer ankle support.

If you are a soccer player. You better equipped yourself with a pair of ankle support too. With a lot of kicking on the field, chances of you getting your ankle sprained is very high. Make sure you get the durable one too.

Aging With Grace

This guest post from Doris Dillon

I've been trying really hard to age with grace, since that's what my mother told me you had to do. It's been kind of difficult slowly losing my health, and though I love retirement, it is a bit boring at times. Thankfully my husband Jim and I both love to be outdoors, and we've got a lot of great hiking and beach activities nearby. The kids, sometimes which is really great because I get to cook and hang out with my grandchildren all day long. Last year, I noticed I wasn't hearing as well I used to, so I made an appointment at http://hearingaids.miracle-ear.com/hearing-locations/north-carolina/c/cary/ and got a hearing test. Turns out, I needed hearing aids to correct a problem in my inner ear, which apparently has nothing to do with aging. That's good, because I always felt a little too young to have a hearing aid! I can't wait to see where retirement takes me in the next few years but until then Gemini are going to enjoy lounging around here.

Appendicitis Surgery Cost

Last Tuesday, my MIL was admitted to a private hospital here after she complaint of severe stomach pain. After she was CT scanned, the doctor discovered that her appendix has ruptured. She was immediately operated on. Thank God the surgeon managed to save her life. After the surgery, she was monitored for a few days and finally able to discharge on Sunday. Since she does not have any social security benefits, we have to pay in for all the hospiltalization, surgery and medical fees which came up to more than RM10k!
