Butter for only RM1

Thank God for almost expiring butter, I grabbed 7 of it for only RM7. The expiry date is just a day before CNY. Since I need a lot of butter to bake my CNY cookies, this is a very good deal. Can't wait to start baking cookies. ;)

Only 70 Cents

After making the Nyonya Pineapple Tarts all by myself for the first time yesterday, I am now asking myself. "Is it worth all my effort selling each piece at 70 cents?"

You need patience, you need endurance, you need to have some artistic touch, you need to be gentle and have lots of time.

From yesterday onwards, if anyone where to tell me that my Nyonya Pineapple Tarts is expensive. I'll just smile and tell them to make their own. =P

Pineapple Tarts Jam for RM20/kg

Would you buy the pineapple tarts jam selling at RM20/kg? With that amount you can make 200 pcs of Pineapple Tarts.

That is the price that was suggested by the bakery owner after I consulted him about the price I should sell my mom's pineapple tarts jam.

Nyonya Pineapple Tarts

Praise God that I finally received some orders for the Pineapple Tarts.

Already got my dad to order the grated pineapple. Once we got it, I will be standing in the kitchen for 2 hours to cook the pineapple jam (from 30 pineapples!) I hope my legs can take it.

Oh ya, besides the pineapple tarts, I'll be selling the jam too! My first customer will be Chinnee.

How much? I have no idea! Have yet to visit the bakery shop to check out how much they are selling. =)
