Bringing Up Kids that Love Music

When I was young, my parents can't afford to send us for any music lesson. During lower 6, I picked up guitar on my own with the help of a classmate. She taught me how to strum and how to read the chords. Unfortunately, until now I still can't play guitar well because I can't stand the pain on my finger tips. :( Now I have kids on my own, I want to make sure that each of them can play at least one musical instrument. We have already send 2 of my girls for piano class. I think all of them will learn piano first followed by other musical instrument that they like later.
