What is a Promise Ring

Do you still remember receiving a ring from your boyfriend? That is a promise ring. I still remember mine; an adjustable heart shape ring which I received from my first love when I was 17 years old. A promise ring is a declaration of our love and commitment to each other. The ring promises that our love will stay pure. Promise rings are normally the step before the engagement of a couple.
