When you are driving and you feel that your steering wheel is very heavy, stop the car and step out. Take a look at your front tyre. Chances is high that the tyre do not have enough air or has inflated.
I do not know whether this applies if your car comes with power steering. I am driving an old junk, so no power steering for me. The power lies in my 2 strong arms. :)
