One of my colleagues loves eating. She will munch non stop and due to it, she is overweight. She mentioned that she wanted to loose weight but she always feels hungry. If she were to live in US, I would ask her to go for LAP-BAND Band surgery.
What the surgeon will do is inserts an inflatable adjustable gastric band through small (laparoscopic) incisions and positions the band around the upper portion of your stomach. This creates a small stomach pouch and passageway into the lower part of the stomach. This procedure will allow you to feel full and satisfied while you actually eat less and lose excess weight.
While waiting for this kind of surgery to be introduced here, we have to continue nagging her when she munches away.
