Transferring Data

I am not so sure whether the telecommunications shop here that sell cell phone helps you to transfer the data in your old phone to the new phone that you purchased from them. Recently my boss changed to a new cell phone and my colleague (the one that is resigning) helped him to transfer all the data from the old phone to the new ones. It took him quite sometime to do it. He even Google on how to go about it.
