Saving His Salary

Today is pay day for the workers at the plant. I was informed to hold back the salary for Thaman, the worker that always got drunk. After deducting the amount that he owes the Production Manager and a small amount for him to spend on food for the rest of the month, he has another $300. That money will be kept to buy buy gold coins for him. In other word, to save or invest for him so that he will have a certain amount of money by the time he returns to Nepal. However I was asked for the cash because he needs to settle the loans that he took from his friends this month. Only start deducting next month.
