Homeschool by 2013

Hubby said that we should seriously consider to homeschool our children by 2013. That will be the year my eldest will turn 10 years old. My SIL whom homeschool all her 5 children advice us that we should start homeschooling before the child turns 10. After 10yo, their character will be more difficult to mould. If I homeschool my children, I can't provide them with Science theory if they like the subject and wants to become a doctor or pharmacist. Without it, they can't further their studies in college in that stream. How can my children become a doctor or get Pharmacist Jobs? How?

Every Seconds of His Life

If you follow my children's blog then you will know how chatty my almost 3yo son is. Sometimes I want to tell him to stop talking but of course I didn't do that. He started talking pretty late compared to his sisters whom can speak by their 1st birthday. This son of mine only starts talking at 21 months. And once he starts, he speeds all the way, non-stop. Sometimes it is very exhausting for us but we are enjoying every moment of it. I felt so worth it quitting my job and being able to witness his growing ups every seconds of his life.

I am sure he can be a good Massachusetts OUI Lawyer or any lawyer for that matter. I wonder whether he will grow up to follow his daddy's footstep, stick to his career, become a successful lawyer and owned his own law firm. Be rich and take care of Mommy like what he likes to say.

Anyway, for all my children, I hope their will gain skills that will be useful in serving God. Be it a lawyer, a doctor, a teacher or even a farmer; as long as they can use this skill to serve His people, we will be a proud parents.

Greener Pasture in Canada

Lots of Malaysian Chinese are migrating to other countries for greener pasture. So far 2 countries that is the favorite are Australia and Canada. Maybe there are a lot of Chinese in that country already and they won’t miss their Chinese community and food when they are there.

My very own sister in law and her family migrated to Australia last year. They actually wanted to go to Canada but she cannot stand the cold temperature in Canada.

If you love cold weather and friendly people, I hope they are friendly to foreigners, and planning to migrate to Canada, looking for jobs there is never that easy with Now Hiring Canada. You can conduct the job search by location and type of job. You can even post your resume and let employer find you, something similar to JobStreet here in Malaysia.

Recently they came up with a unique approach by placing one of their custom made 'Now Hiring Go To Now-Hiring.ca' signs in the business owner's windows, which directs the candidates to their website where they publish the employer's information on the Internet where the candidate is able to learn all they require about the available position.

Interesting right? Rather than just write in or walk in for interview without knowing about the company background, candidates are given an easy way out to learn more about the company and the job offer from Now Hiring Canada.

Hairdresser

There are lots of ways to earn money. Once I wanted to become a hairdresser or a beautician. I still do. It is because I love makeovers especially through creative hair styles and make ups. At the time when I finished school, hair schools are not common here, most of them will go to Singapore to learn all about hairdressing. It was too costly for my poor dad that my dream has to be buried. I think if I were to be a hairdresser, I would be driving a luxury car now. Now much cost involve, I am just selling my skills. :)

If you have the same dream as mine and residing in US, then you might want to enroll with Regency. Regency graduates are recognized and sought after throughout the United States. I am sure you won't find any problem looking for jobs after graduating. You might even be booked before you graduate. :)
