Collectibles

When we were young, the only collectibles that we can afford is the stamps and later coins from various countries which we exchange with our penpals. So rich man collects antic cars, some luxury watches, some coins and Vintage Model Airplanes.

If hubby were to collect airplanes, I think by now it has become my son's toys. Beside bulldozer, he loves airplanes. He will get all excited if he sees airplane flying the the sky. He will shout, "Paperplane, Paperplane." That is how he pronounces Aeroplane. LOL.

Reading Magazines

I like to read. But only when I have free time. Meaning, no blogging to be done, no schoolwork, not mine, my daughter's and I must be wide awake. No matter what books or magazine, I must be fresh reading it, if not, sure fall asleep.

Best time for me to catch up on reading is when I go to the clinic and the salon. I would grab any magazine available. Be Denver magazine, Women's magazine, Men's magazine or even the Chinese magazine which I don't know how to read them. I like looking at pictures and beautiful people in the magazines. =)

Pet Turtles for RM10

I bought baby turtles for RM10 a pair. The turtle food cost RM5 and the container RM3.

RM18 to see my eldest girl smiling from ear to ear and then her cries and screams when her sister snatches the turtles from her.

This is my daughters first pet. I hope they will survive as long as they could. ;)

Cat Tree

Do you know what is the above is called? It is a cat tree. Earlier I was imagining a tree-like structure. Maybe I could invent one ya. hahaha.

Living in town, cats do not have the privilege scratching real tree bark or sleeping on a real tree branches. They will have to make do with what their master provided for them. Poor cat. Come to live with me in my kampong lar. LOL.

In The Mood To Read

When I don't have assignment to write I complaint. Now I have lots of them to write, my mind kept thinking about Penelope.

That is the "problem" with me. Once I started reading an interesting book, I can't stop till I finish reading the whole book.

I think, I just call the day for blogging today and quickly finish reading my Penelope so that I can go full gear tomorrow to finish writing all my assignments. =)

Fine Art

People say when you love numbers, you won’t be good in arts. It’s like the left brainer verses the right brainer. I have both. Due to it I am no expert in field. I love Maths but not Accounts. I love handicraft but not painting. My art goes to especially my baking skill. I make sure that my cookies are pretty! Hahaha.

I have a friend that is not good in numbers but she is very good in fine arts. I love her paintings. Unfortunately she did not pursue her dream to be an artist because of finance. However she is a beautician now and a florist too. That is an art too right???

Sometimes I wonder those artists who always participate in exhibitions, how do they transport their paintings from one gallery to another gallery. It must be quite a tedious job packing and unpacking, wrapping and unwrapping.

Due to it, many of them will invest in good Fine Art Storage and also hire movers that know the value of their artwork. Well, if one of their paintings is sold, I guess paying for the services is only minimal to them. I wonder why some people are willing to pay thousands and sometimes millions of just a piece of canvas with oil paint on them. This is what they call art ya?

Coin Collection

When I was young, collecting stamps is my hobby. My boss daughters’ hobby is collecting coins. Since my boss travels a lot and also has many friends around the world, his daughters’ took this advantage to get their daddy to bring back coins from the countries he visited. They have a big album for their coin collection. Every country he visits, he will sure bring all the range of coins that they have for him daughter's album. Even those foreigners that he met here, he will request to exchange coins with them. He is a good father but as an employer, he has his weakness.

No Fishing in the Office

Taking about Chinese New Year, it reminds me about the fishes that lady boss used to rear in the office. I think fishes bring luck to the company and she placed the aquarium right before the entrance to the MD room. However, she has no luck in rearing fish. All of them died shortly. ALL! Even the RM3000 Arwana!

At first she taught, it is the water but even though she mixed the water with her diamond water from her home, they fishes die too. So know, the aquarium is still there collecting dust instead of fish!
