New Steering Wheel for My Old Toyota

Got lots of land But do not have lots of money

One of the advantages of living in a kampung is you have plenty of land surrounding your house. You can plant lots of trees, rear pets, rear chicken and ducks, have hammock hanging on a tree, have a few swings hanging down from the trees etc. The only thing that most kampung people do not have is a lot of money. If we do, I am sure every house will have a swimming pool and pentair pool pump will be one of their collection. Our children do get to swim but not in a crystal clear swimming pool. They swim in small river or stream behind their house and get their whole body all muddy. That's kampung life.

Giving Angpow Time

Gong Xi Fa Cai!We have just watched the fireworks display by neighbours and firecrackers war. Now is the time to give some Angpows to the lil ones. Sitting here, I can hear my in laws are going around distributing Angpows to their nephews and nieces. My children just came in the room excited about the Angpows that they received. Time for me to leave this chair and do the same. "Give and it shall come back to you, good measure pressed down, shaken together and running over". Surely will when you have the most children amongst them all. hehe.

Basement Tiling

10 years ago, I tiled my 18x12 bedroom floor for RM1k only. Recently my grandaunt tiled her outdoor floor which is about 4 times the size of my bedroom at RM15k. The price of the tiles really shot up since 10 years ago! I wonder how much would the basement tiles cost then. I read that it is not easy to tile the basement floor. Moist control must be taken into consideration and ceramic tile would be a better option.

Do you realise that breakfast is quite costly? Especially the Chinese breakfast. A plate of Chicken Rice is RM3.50, Wantan Mee is RM3.00 and even the plain fried noodle with taugeh only cost RM2.00. The Malay breakfast is cheaper. You can still get Nasi Lemak for RM1.00 and Roti Canai for RM0.80/piece BUT you have to buy 2 each to get the same value as those Chinese Breakfast. The cheapest is buy a loaf of bread and eat them with jam and butter.Takkan wanna eat sliced bread every day. There is another cheapest breakfast in town. This has been the breakfast for the poor and those with many children - LEMPENG. My MIL used to feed her 11 children lempeng every day for breakfast and now I am doing the same but not every day lar. Buy a kilo of flour at RM1.35; you can make more than 10 pcs of lempeng. I'll share how to make lempeng in my next post. ;)

My sister and I have never gotten along as well as I’d like for us to, if we’re being honest. I love her to death but she’s really headstrong and I have a really hard time being okay with that – when she gets argumentative with me I always argue back which isn’t always the best idea. I recently got Hughesnet at home and it’s actually been really nice – we’ve found that we’re able to email with each other and do it totally civilly. I think it has something to do with the fact that we can’t really argue via email – there’s no interrupting each other or anything like that! I love my sister so much but she and I have always sort of been like oil and water. Most of the time we’re good but when we’re bad we’re really, really bad so it’s worth avoiding at all costs if that’s an option, you know what I mean! It’s not fun for anyone when we’re fighting about something.

Being Thrifty

Being thrifty is one of my New Year's resolutions. We are going to be a family of 8 and our expenses will increase further. Last year, every month is cukup-cukup makan and a few months we do not have enough income to cover all our expenses. Next year, our expenses will reduced slightly because we do not hire anymore maid and we have stopped sending our son to the private kindergarten. We will try to reduce on eating out because, 2 kids no longer share a plate of food. My 3 older children can finish a plate of noodle or rice all by themselves and also a waffle each after the meal!We will have a newborn by April but that won't be much of an additional cost because he/she will be fully breastfed and will be on cloth diapers too. I guess, we will only feel the pinch in 2013. That will be the year we plan to homeschool our girls. I am not so sure whether it will help reduce our monthly expenses or not. Homeschooling means I'll be paying for the textbook and workbook; in USD some more! Now, all is provided by the government. Whatever it is, this year I must learn to be more thrifty so that I can help hubby save for our children's education.

Need Extra Cash for CNY

Christmas is over. So does our budget. Due to the recent family gathering, we have spent the amount that we would usually spend for CNY. Now, we need to find extra cash to cover that up. If not, we might need to owe the credit card company again. :( Selling teflon hose can be a good idea but I do not have the time to drive from factory to factory to promote my product. Hubby is asking me to take order for pineapple tarts and start sewing bags again if there is an order. I am not so sure whether my back will allow me to sit for long hours. Even now, I am suffering from backache. I can't even carry my 11mo baby without feeling the pain.I pray that God will take away the backache soon. I really need to raise RM500 within a month.

Christmas Present from UK

We had an early Christmas celebration this year because my SIL and family who is living in UK came back for 20 days. Unfortunately they have to leave before Christmas Day due to the flight cost. They are actually on the plane now. My children were so excited to meet them, some for the very first time because they last time they came back as a family was 7 years ago. My 5.5yo son is are happier because he got plastic model cars from their English cousin during the gift exchange. Hope to meet them again in 2-3 years time.

My sister and her husband recently switched cable companies and I think they are pleased with their decision to switch. My sister was really excited when she found out that she could get an app on her phone that allowed her to control her DVR when she was not at home. I was jealous of this until I found out that I could get the same app on my phone for Expert Satellite. I think it will be really useful. There have been several times in the past that I have forgotten to set the DVR to record a show or hear about a show that is on while I am not at home that I want to record. Now I can use my phone to control the DVR. My husband thinks that it is a little much to need that much control over the television. However, I guarantee that he will be asking to use my phone to set up the recording of some football games when he forgets to record them at home. I probably will let him, although I am never looking for a way to let him watch more football.

Hubby said that we should seriously consider to homeschool our children by 2013. That will be the year my eldest will turn 10 years old. My SIL whom homeschool all her 5 children advice us that we should start homeschooling before the child turns 10. After 10yo, their character will be more difficult to mould.If I homeschool my children, I can't provide them with Science theory if they like the subject and wants to become a doctor or pharmacist. Without it, they can't further their studies in college in that stream. How can my children become a doctor or get Pharmacist Jobs? How?

I moved here to Houston to be closer to David last month and FINALLY got a job teaching special education in a private school about an hour away. After packing up everything in Georgia and making the long, LONG solo drive to Texas, I arrived to a very messy home. David had only closed on the house, but had not had the time to get cable set up, call TEXAS ELECTRICITY PROVIDERS, or turn on the water. He had literally been showering at the gym, poor thing. So, when I arrived, no only did I have to get my act together for new teacher training for a week before school started, I also had to organize appointments with all the utility companies to come and hook things up. Thankfully, the experience was smooth and easy, and I can now watch ‘Picker Sisters’ while I scroll through my new kiddos’ IEPs. Now, if I can only find some “utility” that we can pay for to have someone grade these papers for me, we’d be set.

I didn't know that there is such thing as the document management software. if I do at that time, I will surely get my boss to purchase it. The document management software can help me to organize, secure and manage those documents. I can also share my documents with my customers and colleagues. To which extend their can use my documents is up to me. I can give restricted access to some, and more to others. Special permissions such as deleting, printing, emailing, and others can be given or not to different users.

Titanium in My Body

We are planning to have our 6th child next near. We agreed that this will be our last pregnancy. I have enough of raising up babies already. hehe. Time to move on to the next stage of motherhood. We have decided to give it another try on another type of birth control after giving birth to this 6th child. IUCD is totally out of the question. I wanted to try putting a titanium in my body. My fallopian tube will be wearing a titanium bracelet soon. This type of birth control is called the Filshie Clip Tubal Ligation. Most importantly, they do not need to cut my stomach; they will just poke a small hole through my belly button (laparoscopy) to insert the clip. :)

Gear Box Repair

About 2 weeks ago, after sending my sister's kindy maid back to the kindergarten, hubby's car went jammed in the middle of the traffic light. The gear was jammed. Hubby can't even push the car. We hired a tow truck to tow it to the workshop.The repair of the gear box cost us RM550! After driving for a day, the gear is quite tight and hard to "go in". So we sent the car back to the workshop. While fixing it, all of a sudden the car couldn't ignite anymore. Later, we got a call from our mechanic to inform us that the starter is faulty. At the end of the day, we were charged another RM50 for the starter. The gear was smooth though but only for a day. The next day, it went back to square one. Hubby decided not to send back to the mechanic but to just get use to the gear until we have enough money to send the car to another mechanic.

Right now, what I want to do is to relax in one of clawfoot tubs by bathsofdistinction filled with my favorite aromatherapy oil. I feel so tired every day even after napping for 1 to 2 hours. My body still has not adjust to the new routine. I have been sick (cough n stuffing nose) for almost a month already and there is no sign of healing. When I am about to get better, one of my children is down with runny nose or cough, I will get it back from them. My immune system used to be stronger. When they fall sick, I wouldn't. I have weaned off my 2yo boy and now in the process of weaning my 8mo. I feel bad/guilty/sad for my 8mo baby but I have no choice. I can't let them "suck me dry" anymore. I need the nutrition for my body now. I hate the maid for not keeping her word. I shouldn't have trusted her.

The thing with old people arh, they are very absent-minded, they will leave the equipment all over the farm and when they can't find them, they started looking for me. I hardly go to the farm, how would I know. If the equipments really went missing, chances that they have been stolen is quite high. There's this drug addict that often goes around people's garbage pit to look for scrap metal to sell. When There is No Bathroom Scale

We were without any bathroom scale for about a month. When we have one, we often weigh ourselves from time to time. If we see our weight increased, we will cut down our food intake until we get back our desired weight.

Without the bathroom scale, we did not keep close watch of our weight and we ate to our hearts content. "No one" to stop us from eating. ;)

Yesterday, we went to buy a new bathroom scale. To our expectation, our weight has increased insanely. I stand at 51kg now and hubby at 82kg! Hubby still can't believe that is is over 80kg. He blames the bathroom scale for being faulty.

From the day I got married until today, I still couldn't find the guts to continue my studies. I did check out Walden University's online degree programs at WaldenU.edu a few times but I dare not sign up for the course that I like.

What if I start and cannot finish. That will be a waste of my husband's money. hehe. I need to learn about Walden more. There must be a clause to how long I can extend/drag a the course that I have signed up. :)

I have been pregnant 5 times and never once I get to wear stylish maternity clothes. The main reason is, I did not have the money to spend on those expensive maternity clothes. Nurses in Private Hospital

Recently my MIL was admitted to a private hospital due to appendicitis. I was surprised that the service by the nurses are bad. I was expecting their service to be better than the government hospital because we paid in thousands for it. The only good thing about private hospital is they have specialist and their emergency service is fast.

Those ladies in their nursing uniform are getting lazier these days. If they see that the patient has someone accompanying; eg a maid. They will get the maid to do their job like taking hot water, washing the toilet or cleaning the patient.

I've been trying really hard to age with grace, since that's what my mother told me you had to do. It's been kind of difficult slowly losing my health, and though I love retirement, it is a bit boring at times. Thankfully my husband Jim and I both love to be outdoors, and we've got a lot of great hiking and beach activities nearby. Tenant's Electricity Bills Not Paid

This time, my tenant left with RM1.2k electricity bills not paid! More than enough to buy 10 golf cufflinks. It should be lesser than that but hubby was kind enough to let the tenant stay for another month and yet another month believing his promises that a new roommate is coming in soon and he can get the money from him to pay the electricity bills. At last when the electricity bill gone over 1k, he told us that the so-called new roommate cheated him. Do you believe that? I don't!

He moved out of my apartment because we cut the electricity supply and now we are looking for new tenant. No more Arabs if possible.

Appendicitis Surgery Cost

Last Tuesday, my MIL was admitted to a private hospital here after she complaint of severe stomach pain. After she was CT scanned, the doctor discovered that her appendix has ruptured. She was immediately operated on. Thank God the surgeon managed to save her life. After the surgery, she was monitored for a few days and finally able to discharge on Sunday. Since she does not have any social security benefits, we have to pay in for all the hospiltalization, surgery and medical fees which came up to more than RM10k!

I know that some of us who love soap opera or Korean drama on Direct TV can really be engrossed with the show that they don't realised the things that happened around them. My mom often commented this, "When you all watch TV, if got thief breaks in the house you also won't realise it.

My sweet lil niece, Melody recently had a cut on her nose bridge when she fell and hit a plastic chair's leg at a her mom's friend house. The cut is more than an inch long. 11 Puppies

In beginning there was 12 puppies. One died after a heavy rain. Poor puppy. It must be the weakest amongst the 12. And now we are down to 11 puppies and they are all cute, chubby and healthy.

After the heavy rain, we moved the puppies to our car porch. They are sheltered from rain and sun. They place where they mommy loves to hang out during the night.

Unfortunately as they grown bigger, they poop more and their poop stinks too. Their mommy stopped eating their poop too. I started looking for ways to get rid of their poop odor at http://www.thesteamteam.com/pet-odor-treatment.shtml. At 4 months old my youngest baby's hair started to drop. Before her hair look like someone who just had a chemotherapy, I shaved her head. She is bald now. At the same time, my hair started to drop too! They break easily. An internet cafe out of town area with 10 computers is up for sale at RM15k. Hubby's friend went to check out the shop to discover that the PCs are very old and the shop does not even have a signboard! We countered offer at RM10k but the owner wanted RM13k.

RM13k is quite a high price for us because after buying over the shop, we need at least another RM10k to upgrade the computers, add in a printer, photocopier, binder, laminator and do some rack card printing to advertise our new internet cafe.

10th Wedding Anniversary Gift

We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary 2 days ago. We did not buy for each other anything. My hubby does not drink or smoke so, I don't need to order cigars online to surprise him with a good cigar. We just pampered ourselves with 2 hours of massage session at Phoenix. :D

Then to a good lunch at Kenny Roger Roaster. We ate at the same restaurant during our 9th wedding anniversary! For dinner, each of us enjoy 16 sticks of satay celup each.

Hubby did ask whether I want a bouquet of flowers. I told him that since he asked, I will definitely say "No. Don't waste money." If he were to surprise me with one, I can't say no and accept it with glee. ;)

Last month we bought a few LCD monitor for our internet cafe. Each of them came with a free gift; wireless speakers. But then we decided not to take the free gift because is it not a good idea to have wireless speakers in an internet cafe because the chances of it going missing is very high. If and when I can afford to buy an MPV, I would like to buy the Hyundai Starex; an 11 seater MPV. The on-the-road price with insurance for the car is RM138,888.00. Not that expensive for a new 11 seater MPV. The design of this 11 seater MPV is not bad also and it runs on diesel.

You know lar that my family is growing. Now we have 7 in the family minus MIL and her maid. All of us can't travel in a 7 or 8 seater MPV. We must get the 11 seater MPV if we want to bring everyone in one vehicle.

It is a Girl!

I am so happy to know that my pastor's daughter whom I know since she was 8yo gave birth to a baby girl a few hours ago. It was an induced labor at 36 weeks because she has preeclampsia.

Her mother instinct was correct. During her pregnancy she has been crocheting hats and hairbands for a baby girl. So, to those who guess that her baby will be a boy and bought baby gift for a boy you can keep them for her next baby. ;)

Cheapest 8 course wedding luncheon

On Easter we had the cheapest 8 course wedding luncheon. We attended an Easter Sunday Evangelistic Service followed by lunch. The service and lunch were held in a school hall. We paid RM10 only for each person. The actual cost per person is RM16; RM6 is subsided by our church. It is only RM160 per table!

The menu is as below and the food taste delicious too.

1. 5 Season Cold Dish
2. Steamed Herbal Chicken
3. Assam Siakap Fish
4. Steamed Buns with Stewed Pork
5. Fried Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf
6. Braised Baby Bok Choi with abalone mushroom
7. Fried Prawns

And there were only 3 adults and 6 children at our table. My family and a father with his 2 young girls. Their have to leave to go somewhere after the 5th course. Hubby and I ate until we surrender. I even pack some prawns home! hahahaha. Time for creatine powders!!!

Beach Holiday

A few days ago, I let my children watch the video of our previous holidays. They like beach holiday the most; especially the swimming pool part. Since I am the camera/videowoman, I can't join them in the pool. Furthermore since it is the public place, I've got to keep an eye on our belonging laying at the their Picnic Tables.

While waiting, I keep myself comfortable laying at one of their Adirondack chairs reading a book when I got bored of shooting them. ;)

Park Benches are a great place to meet people. I made friends while hanging out at the park benches during our holidays while watching our children play at the playground.

Apartment near MMU for Rent

My apartment is up for rent again. This time, we are going to rent it empty if possible. Of course the rental will be lower too. We are busy people you see and we have no time to go through the hassle of checking the electrical appliances when the tenant complaint that they are not working.

We also learned that we can have a change of tenancy when it comes to the electricity bill. Meaning we can change the name on the bill to the tenant's and when they did not pay their bill, TNB will go look after them, not us. I wonder whether that applies to foreigners.

There's 10 more days to go. Meantime, I wanna check out the siegel tradeshow booths. Need to find ways to promote hubby's business.

Again, another tenant kicked out

When oh when are we going to get good tenant that pays their bills and rent every month. We have given the tenant notice to move out from my apartment by end of this month if they still fail to pay the full amount of the outstanding electricity bill of RM1k and the monthly rental. Thank God we cut their electric supply last month, if not we will surely have to come out our own money to pay the electricity bill again like previous tenant.

We went to the apartment yesterday to check it out coz the tenant did not reply our sms when we told them to move out. No one was in the apartment but they are still staying there coz all their belongings are still there but the place was in a mess. I think they live along side with the rats and cockroaches! I think people who live in the streets have cleaner place to lay their head.

We are praying for a good tenant next.

A New Brother Printer for Internet Cafe

After using the HP Business printer for a few years, it started giving us problems. When contacted the supplier, he insisted that his product is of good quality and it can't be giving us so much problem. Hubby didn't want to debate much with him because the supplier felt offended when we told him about the product defect. So we send the printer to a local HP supplier to get it fix.

While waiting for the printer to be fixed, hubby bought a new Brother printer; no printer, no printing, no sales! I can't remember which model he bought but it is one of the Brother printers that come with scanner.

Unfortunately, the model can't print of photo paper. :( We should have gotten the Brother laser printer but then the printing cost would be higher. Oh well, it is ok since we do not have many customer that wants to print on photo paper.

A Fun Night Out

Every once in a while my siblings and I like to get together and go bowling. My husband and I set our home security alarm (more info) and head out for a night of fun. We meet all of my siblings and their spouses for a night of friendly competition. We really enjoy going to this classy bowling alley that is about ten minutes away. This place has been open since I was a young girl. It has become a family tradition to go bowling at this alley and just enjoy a night out with family. Our children now tag along with us to enjoy this fun family experience.

When we go bowling it is usually the whole entire family plus friends that participate. We have to rent at least two lanes and split up into groups. Usually we make it boys against girls and have the loser buy dinner afterward. Bowling is one way that our family gets to enjoy their time together, no matter what the weather is like outside. It is one sport that truly brings us together as a family.

Two weeks ago I brought my newborn to the government clinic for her 2 months old check up and also immunization. On that day, the clinic was amazingly empty. Where are the mothers? Where are the nurses in their white nursing uniforms?

After I took my number then only the nurse at the reception who was busy sorting out their cotton lab coats told me that they are out of medicine. What? Immunization medicine out of stock??? Since my first child till my 4th, this is the first time, I encountered this situation at the clinic.

Were there too many babies being born on the same month as mine? Or maybe the nurse on duty to check the medicine stock did not do her job properly. Maybe the clinic was occupied in getting their hand on the clearance scrubs that they forget to re-order. Or it could be the supplier's fault.

Whatever it is, it took them 2 weeks to call me to bring my newborn back to the clinic to get her immunization jab.

Electricity Bill Not Paid Again!

My current tenant have not pay 3 months of electricity bill amount RM1600++. When called he told hubby that he has no money and he will pay by the 18th the 2 months outstanding. He paid his rental though. Since 18th is on Friday, we waited till Monday to check online whether he has paid or not. Monday came and no sign of payment. I called the management to cut their electricity supply. Surprisingly neither hubby nor the management receive any call from them asking about the electricity supply. On Tuesday, I check the bill online and the amount has increased to RM1600 due to current bill that has just been updated on that day.

We still have not receive any call from them or payment being made to TNB. Hubby has sent sms to them to pay or leave the apartment by this weekend.

I hope their deposit amount is enough to cover for the outstanding bills. If not, I need to write more hydroxycut reviews to get the extra cash to pay for the bills again!

Flood Damage

These days, whenever it rains more than 24 hours, there will sure be flood at the low land area which has been reclaimed to build houses and business park. God created the swamp area for a reason. When there is no more swamp land, the rain water has no where to go but into people's house. Then people start calling for the water flood damage austin.

Those who have wooden floor will suffer more because they have to spend more to pay the water damage floor austin to get their floor fixed. That is the reason I will never a house which is built on reclaimed land.

No Parking at the Entrance

I must suggest to hubby to get the "No Parking" sign to be placed on the entrance door. Some of the customers who cycled to the cyber cafe love to park their bicycles right in the middle of the entrance. Fine, I know you want the shade but park at the side not blocking other people's way into the shop.

Besides "No Parking" hubby need to get a bigger safety signs; "No Smoking" to be placed inside and outside of the toilet. If possible arh, those that come with water sprinkler once it detects smoke. Got sign also no point for those stubborn customer; water sprinkler is best for this kind of people!

Low Sales Month for Internet Cafe

I am not sure about other internet cafe but February is always the month with the lowest sales because it is a short month. Just the 2 days sales can make a lot of different you know. On top of it, we closed 2.5 days for Chinese New Year. And a few days before it, we have very few customers because of the holidays. Most college student went back to their hometown.

We will have enough to cover the business expenses but hubby take home pay won't be enough to cover for our monthly expenses. Ikat perut lar next month. :(

I just found out from a church member who recently got her pancreas cyst removed at a private hospital that it cost RM18k for the surgery. Thank God she got medical insurance but she has pay half of the cost because she did not buy the full coverage policy.

I Want More Breast Milk

For my first 3 babies, I was not able to produce enough breast milk for them. Partly because I did not get much encouragement from my mom (she kept telling me to mix with formula milk) and by the time I go to work they went on formula milk.

When I give birth to my 4th baby, I was determined to fully breastfeed him till 24mo. However, I was not producing enough breast milk for him. Not wanting to get him on formula milk, I went online to search on how to increase breast milk production. There I found out about Fenugreek and I also discovered that some mommies I know is taking the Fenugreek in capsule form. So, I bought half a kilo of Fenugreek and send them to the mill to be grounded. Way cheaper than buying the capsules. Fenugreek helps increased my breast milk production.

When I am pregnant with my 5th child, my 4th child is only 1yo. Since I wanted to breast feed my 4th child till 2yo. I keep on telling myself that I can produce enough breast milk for 2. I am very determine. It is all in the mind. If you think you can, you surely can. Even the lactation consultant mentioned the same; it is all in the mind.

True enough, I am breastfeeding both my newborn and toddler now. I have more than enough for my newborn and her brother gets to latch more than just twice a day. He is hardly on formula milk now. I did not take any Fenugreek. I just let them latch as often as possible and drink lots of liquid.

We are still not ready to impose "No TV" to my children. It is the best babysitter for me when no one is around at home to help me take care of them. So, I just limit to a few channels that they are allowed to watch.

Recently I have been following The Duggar Family documentary on TLC. To date, this family have 19 children. They have no TV at home, not even Bell Télé. I really wonder how the mother cope with minding so many children; I missed that episode. :(

I finally gave birth on the 13.01.11 after much hope that my baby will come out on the 11.01.11 which was her due date. Praise God for a fast and easy delivery.

This time, we paid RM13 more compared to my previous delivery in the same hospital. It is because, I stayed there 2 days instead of 1 because my baby's first G6PD result was inconclusive and they have to test her blood again the next day.

Even though we paid more, it is still way cheaper than to give birth in private hospital which is about RM2k now for a child.

New Work Schedule

For this year, one of hubby's part time staff is working lesser hour at our shop. He won't be working on Mondays and Thursdays. I think he got a better paying job for that 2 particular days.

So now, we are hoping that the other part time staff can be available on both days. If not hubby will have to work from morning till sunset or even midnight if the night part time has something on on that day.

We are thinking of employing another part timer to fill in the gap. Not easy to find one though.

My dad is now recuperating in the hospital. He just went through a laser surgery to remove gall stones from both sides of his bladders. We will visit him shortly after hubby arrived home from work. Golf Vacation

Today, my children are supposed to go with their aunt up to Cameron Highland for a short holiday. Unfortunately the plan was cancelled last minute due to wedding invitation! Oh well, looks like I have to bring them for a holiday. I thought can save some money by letting them follow their aunt then I can save up for Myrtle Beach hotel.

It will be nice if we can have golf too instead of just swimming during the vacation. I need to practice my swing which I have not done for years. At http://www.horizonmyrtlebeach.com I might get good bargain for a golf vacation.

The best way to lose belly fat are through doing sit ups, pole dancing or maybe yoga. As for me, pretty soon, I have to start doing sit ups again to lose my belly fat. I started investing in gold one and a half year ago and during that time the price of gold is only RM95. Today, the latest gold investment rate is RM142! Count for yourself how much I have profited. If I sell my gold now lar. ;) No fixed deposit can give you that much return. I am going to keep that gold for another 10 years. I hope by then, it will be enough to support my children's higher education expenses. ;)

Loosing My Hair

I am not losing my hair due to pregnancy but I am loosing my hair due to the school holiday! There are 5 more weeks to go! I sure need the best hair loss products by the end of the school holiday.

It is very challenging to keep the house in peace and in order and at the same time getting my all 3 school going children do some academic exercises before the new school term begins. Oh ya! I have 1.5yo that needs my attention too.

Stampede Kills

The recent stampede incident in Cambodia killed 456 people. This is one of worst stampedes in the last 20 years. When I read through the chronology, Jamarat Bridge in Saudi Arabia has repeated stampede incidents that kills many Muslim pilgrims during the ritual stoning of the devil at the annual Haj pilgrimage.

I wonder, why isn't the government do something about it since the same happened twice at the same place and the same occasion. Isn't there any crowd control? Don't they know the existence of stanchions, velvet rope and barricades to large crowd?

I really can't imagine if I were in that crowd. Will I be strong enough to stand the pushing? Will I push others to stay alive? Can I escape? Or will I be stepped to death! Scary thought!

Gold Price Dropped

The gold price dropped from RM141 last week to RM138 this week. This is a very good time to buy gold. I am sure the price will go up again in no time. Where can I find cash to buy gold? Time to withdraw the little that is left in my Paypal and maybe convert some of my children savings account to buy gold. I think this time I will open an account at UOB coz the difference between buying and selling is only RM2 compared to other bank that charges more than RM4! But then, the minimum balance in the account must be 10g if not they will charge administration fee. Not a big issue coz I don't plan to withdraw until my children enter college.

From Carpet to Tile

I used to place carpets in my room when I was single. Once I got married and planned to have children, that was the first thing that I throw out my room. I can't stand the smell of urine which was left overnight. Even with the help of urine odor removal carpet austin, without direct sunlight, I doubt the odor can be eliminated 100%.
